A Satisfied Customer
I am so happy that I found Bill and his wonderful food. It was just by chance that my sister, daughter and I attended a picnic where he was cooking. We enjoyed his stir fry and delicious mussels. He spoke to us about his cancer and the Kushi cooking school that he had attended. Additionally, he told us how changing his eating habits has drastically changed his health for the better. We decided to attend his 8 week cooking class. We figured if the changes he made were so successful we should find out about this food.
I began making changes immediately after the first class. I stopped eating sugar, dairy, and meat. I began to eat differently from the way I used to eat. I never believed I was eating poorly. We always had a grain, a lot of vegetables and of course meat, and dessert after our main meals. I just finished my 5th class and I have lost 8 pounds, and I feel wonderful. I do continue to cook the “old way” for my husband; however, he does like some of the new dishes. I am hoping he will adapt to this new cooking style, but if he doesn’t I will continue to cook & eat healthy. This change is a life commitment for me.
This Autumn I had my regular physical. Naturally, I had blood work done. My doctor said I needed to increase my thyroid medication and have another blood test done in 6 weeks. I did what my doctor told me and had blood work done again, which resulted in another increase for my thyroid medication. I began taking Bill’s class, making my life changes and had another blood test---low and behold my thyroid medication needed to be decreased. I will have another blood test in approximately 6 weeks and who knows it may need to be decreased again.
Bill’s cooking style has really made a change for the positive for me. He has been an inspiration and I thank him for sharing his knowledge, and his dedication.
